Syriana - 60 Words in 60 Seconds

Oh, what a tangled web we weave just for oil to receive. Separate threads are woven together with skill, delivering a political message more hopeless and despondent than liberal or conservative. The actions of those wanting to acquire, contrast that of those possessing with tragic results. No one side ever seeming interested, much less capable of seeing the big picture.

Hills Have Eyes - 60 Words in 60 Seconds

Overcoming a clunky conservative vs liberal character set up, the hills do indeed have eyes. And mutations. And anger. The throwback to 70’s horror is becoming so common that it’s risking dilusion. However, the eyes peer past the crowd to a view of brutality, despair and terror uncommon in film.

Oldboy - 60 Words in 60 Seconds

How do you punish someone outside the law? How do you punish yourself? How do you cope with punishment if you don’t understand your transgression? What is the nature of revenge? How deep do you dig into your lost past? When is knowing worse than wondering? What do you do to forget? At what price comes silence? Only Oldboy knows.

Slither - 60 Words in 60 Seconds

What would your favorite C- movie have been like with keen writing, stylized direction, top notch actors, quality and imaginative special effects? Well, apparently you don’t care because no one went to see this gem. Hopefully this will garner the fan base it deserves on DVD. I think the age of endless internet pre-hype is over. Killed this and Serenity.
